N is for New & O is for Old

Good Morning.
It's the first Wednesday of the month which means a new challenge is starting over on the
ABC Christmas Challenge Blog
We have two fantastic themes to choose from...or combine...this month:

'N is for New'

&
'O is for Old'

(Just don't forget the Christmas theme!)

For my card I have dug through my stamp collection and pulled out a few old favorites.

The background of my card was stamped using a Hero Arts stamp that was embossed and I then rubbed some Distress Inks softly over it to bring out the image.

I have coloured the LOTV image to suit the background and then added just a few flowers to finish it all off.

I hope that you have been inspired to join us.

What are H and I for?

Good morning!
It's Carissa here and I hope you are all having a wonderful week.

Over on the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog we
have two wonderful new themes to choose from...or combine...this month:

'H is for Home'

and

'I is for Informal'

(But don't forget the Christmas theme!)

As you can see below, I went for the Informal theme. I opted to use this sweet image from LOTV, coloured it up and simply matted it before placing it atop a store purchased card blank with a bold pattern.  How easy is that?

We have some generous sponsors for this challenge

and

One lucky entrant will win this lovely Snowman Family Stamp Set and a Birds and Berries 6x6 Paper Pack

E is for Edge - F is for Family - G is for Girls

Good Evening, I hope that you are all having a wonderful week.

It is the start of a new month over on the ABC Christmas Challenge.
We have three fantastic themes to choose from...or combine...

'E is for Edge'

'F is for Family'

and

'G is for Girls'

(Just don't forget the Christmas theme!)

For my card, I have opted to play with some of my larger dies to create a card with a fancy scalloped edge. I coloured up James Bear again to match some remnants of an old Basic Grey Christmas collection and matted the image with a diecut that had another fancy edging.

Anything Goes with a Bear!

Good Evening!
I am running a little late today due to technical difficulties. Apparently one needs to remember to recharge their camera battery every now and again, who'd have thought it?

Over on the ABC Christmas Challenge we are kicking off the start of the new year with a new challenge for you.

For the month of January our themes will be

A for Anything Goes
and
B for Things that begin with B

I have a card featuring the adorable James 'B'ear from LOTV. He has been coloured with Copics and accented with a generous dose of Twinkle Dust for some sparkle. The image has been matted  and then added to a card base that I created from some scraps of paper remaining from some previous projects.

We hope that you will join us for our first challenge of 2017.

Criss Cross it's Christmas!

Hi, due to some technical issues last night I am running a little late today but I am here to tell you all about the new theme over on the ABC Christmas Challenge blog which is

'X' is for Criss Cross

To play along all that you have to do is simply "criss cross" something to create an X.

For my card I have used Tilda with Snow Heart and coloured her up to match this plaid paper that I had in my stash.  Its hard to see in my photo but I've given the image a good dose of sparkle and shine using Twinkle dust and white glue for the snowy accents which complements the snowflake ornament that I have used as an embellishment. A few flowers and gems finished the card off.

U for Under the Pile

Good Morning, I hope your week is off to a great start. Its hard to believe that we are already almost half way through October, the big day is inching closing and closer. To help you get prepared, we have another great theme starting today over on the ABC Christmas Challenge Blog.

U for Under the Pile
(we want to see some of the oldest creative goodies in your stash)

I can't claim that this was a hard one for me. Most of my stash is more than a year old at this point. This adorable little Edwin stamp that I think is about 2 years old now has been coloured up to match a card blank that I assembled using some scraps from an old Basic Grey Christmas collection. Only a few simple embellishments were added keeping the card nice and flat for the holiday mail.

We do hope that you will play along.

Our generous sponsor this time is Bugaboo Stamps

One lucky Random winner will win 7 Digi images for their choice

Rip it Up

Where oh where has the summer gone. I can't believe that it is the last day of August already which means that we are now less than 4 months to Christmas.

Over on the ABC Christmas Challenge blog we have another new challenge starting today. The theme this time around is

R for Rip it Up

For my  card, I decided to dig into the inks and play.

I started by embossing the snowflake design and then rubbing on Distress inks in various shades of teal and purple. After tearing off the edge of the matted piece I played around with some embellishment and finally came across these old acrylic snowflakes so I pulled out the alcohol inks and dabbed them up to match with the background.

A few simple gems and a sentiment finish the whole thing off nicely.

I hope that you will join in on the fun.

Our generous sponsor for this challenge is

Q for Quick Layout

Good Morning, is has been a long hot summer but before you know it fall will be here and then Christmas will be sneaking up around the corner. Over at the ABC Christmas Challenge, we want to help you get ahead of the game this year. We have a new challenge starting today, the theme this time around is

Q for Quick Layout

For my card I have coloured up James Bear again. He is getting pretty quick and easy to do because I have used him so much. The layout is really simple, just some scraps from previous cards layered on red cardstock for matting with no embellishments. Quick layouts like this really let the image steal the show.

Be sure to join in on the fun, we have been generously sponsored by

Photobucket

who have offered one lucky participant a chance to win a $10 gift certificate.

L for Letters and Love

Good Evening, I  hope that you have been enjoying some wonderful spring weather. Today marked the start of a new ABC Christmas Challenge  and I'm here to tell you all about it.

Our theme this go around is things that start with L.

For my take on this challenge I selected one of my favorite stamp images from Whiff of Joy. This little pair of lovebird mice was perfect for the theme.  The layout was kept clean and simple to allow the image to be the real focus but I managed to pick up the theme again with Letters in one of my background papers and finished it of with a Love sentiment.

We have a fabulous sponsor for this challenge and one Lucky winner will receive 3 images of their choice from Drawn

Be sure to take a look on the challenge blog at the other DT samples for some more great L themed ideas. We do hope that you will join in the fun.

I for Inky

Good Morning, I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful spring.

It is the start of a new ABC Christmas Challenge.

The theme this time around is

I for Ink

so we hope that you will pull out your favorites and join us

For my card I have opted to play with Distress Inks and a pre-cut card blank. After stamping and heat embossing the snowflake background I have layered on the Distress. For the Snowflake medallion, I inked the stamp in the same colours of Distress before stamping and then layered the image on a simple scalloped mat.  The sentiment was heat embossed on vellum that I dug out of my stash.

This week, we are generously sponsored by
